General Terms & Conditions
Scope of Application
Our T&C apply to all services and offers provided by The Little Gym Bonn. These include course bookings, memberships, birthday parties, holiday camps, and other events. Any deviations or special agreements in individual cases will always be documented in writing to ensure clarity for all parties.
Contract Conclusion
2.1 Formation of Contract
A contract is concluded easily: When you decide on a membership on-site and sign the contract (digitally or physically), you will receive a copy via email. Bookings for classes, holiday camps, or events made on-site are directly confirmed and paid for.
Reservations or inquiries made via telephone, our website, or app only become binding once we confirm them. This ensures everything runs smoothly.
2.2 Age Restrictions
Contracts can only be concluded by adults, so parents or legal guardians are our direct points of contact.
2.3 Contract Language
All communication and contracts will be conducted in German to ensure clarity and understanding.
Services of The Little Gym Bonn
3.1 Course Offerings
With a membership at The Little Gym Bonn, you can attend one weekly class at a fixed time. Enrollment in our courses is possible at any time, provided there are available spots. If this is the case, the membership fee will be adjusted proportionally.
If you or your child cannot attend a class, that’s no problem! If you inform us by 9:00 AM on the day of the class, missed sessions can be rescheduled upon arrangement and subject to availability. Please note that make-up classes are a voluntary goodwill gesture and are only possible within the contract period.
Classes are paused on public holidays. We will inform you in advance so you can plan accordingly.
3.2 Additional Offerings
As a member of The Little Gym Bonn, you enjoy special benefits: You receive priority access and special prices for workshops, holiday camps, and birthday parties. During our holiday camps, the regular class schedule may be adjusted. In such cases, we will, of course, offer replacement dates.
3.3 Changes to the Offerings
In certain circumstances, such as an instructor’s illness or force majeure, adjustments to our course schedules or content may be necessary. Should this occur, we will inform you as early as possible and work together to find a solution.
3.4 Closing Days and Training
To keep our team motivated and well-trained, there are fixed closing periods: Two weeks during the winter holidays and up to three weeks during the summer holidays. Additionally, we may use up to five more days per year for team-building measures and training. Affected classes can be rescheduled upon arrangement.
Customer Obligations
To ensure smooth class operations, we kindly ask you to arrive at least five minutes before the class starts. If your child cannot attend a class, please inform us by 9:00 AM on the day of the class.
If your child has any health restrictions, please let us know in advance. This is the only way we can ensure your child is in good hands.
We place great importance on friendly and respectful interactions. Therefore, our house rules and team instructions apply in our premises.
Please note: Parents or legal guardians are liable for any damages caused by their children.
Prices and Payment Terms
Upon registration, a one-time sign up fee of €80 per child is due. This fee is non-refundable.
The monthly membership fee must be paid via SEPA direct debit by the 5th of each month. In case of late payment, we charge a flat fee of €2.50. From the second reminder onward, this fee increases to €20.
Unfortunately, unused services do not exempt members from payment obligations. Should a price adjustment occur, we will notify you at least six weeks in advance. In this case, you have a special right of termination.
Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation
6.1 Right of Withdrawal
If you or your child have already attended a trial class, the statutory right of withdrawal no longer applies.
6.2 Cancellation Policy
For holiday camps:
– Up to four weeks before the start date: free cancellation.
– From three weeks before the start: 20% of the total amount will be retained.
– From two weeks before the start: 40%; one week before: 60%; and from the day before: 80%.
For birthday parties and events:
When booking, 50% of the total amount is due and non-refundable. The remaining balance must be paid no later than one week before the event.
Termination Conditions
Our memberships have a minimum term of three months. After this period, you can terminate the contract at any time with one month’s notice to the end of the month. Please send your termination in writing by post or email with a digital signature. We will confirm receipt of your termination in writing.
Liability
We always do our best to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. However, in the event of damage, we are only liable in cases of gross negligence or intent. Outside class times, the responsibility for supervision remains with parents or legal guardians.
Please take care of your personal belongings, as we do not assume liability for items brought into our premises.
Final Provisions
Should any provision of these T&C be or become invalid, all other provisions remain unaffected. In such cases, the statutory regulations that most closely reflect the economic purpose of the invalid provision shall apply.
The place of jurisdiction is the location where our contractual relationship is primarily based. German law exclusively applies.
Policies
Clothing
Children should wear comfortable clothing and must be barefoot to maximise safety and freedom. Jewellery, food and chewing gum are not permitted in the gym. Adults entering the gym are asked to remove their shoes (adults may wear socks). The Little Gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Behavioural Issues
If a child is being disruptive, destructive, or dangerous to themselves, other children, or staff members during class or special events, we will make every effort to work with parents and the child in question to resolve this behaviour. If the behaviour persists or other undesired behaviours develop, the child in question will be asked to take a break from the class or event.
Photo and video recording
In the interest of child protection and with respect for your fellow members’ privacy, we must insist that anyone wishing to take photographs or videos of their children in our facility gain permission from all of the other parents/caretakers present in the facility.
Safety Responsibilities
We do everything to offer your family the highest standard of safety and hygiene. But that’s not all: Our gym equipment, mats, floors and furniture meet the latest safety standards. Parents, siblings and guests are always welcome to observe classes from the lobby. We ask the parents or guardians to keep an eye on the children in the lobby and to assume responsibility for the duty of supervision accordingly. The contractual partner is asked not to use the gym facilities without an instructor and also to follow all instructions from the employees of The Little Gym and to comply with the house rules. Siblings are not permitted to participate in class activities unless they are enrolled in that class.
